The Holidays Are Over: Food In Appleton

Now that the holidays are over once again, it’s time to go back to the boring old food for the rest of the year. It seems like nothing can compare to the mighty feasts during the holiday season and don’t get me wrong, they are absolutely amazing, but hear me out. All hope is not lost for great food in Appleton for the non-festive months of the year.

First off, a realization. If we were to eat as we do during the holidays for the entire year, we would really start to round out like Kris Kringle and we would cease to appreciate it or most likely both. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. It works with people and food, among other things. So buck up and work with what you’ve got.

What’s that you ask? Well, there are a great number of gluten free restaurants in Appleton that are available to attempt to take your mind off the mighty holiday feasts if only for the time it takes to eat your meal. With many of these restaurants serving some kind of fusion cuisine, there are a huge number of dishes and menu items that you couldn’t possibly get through in a year’s time. That is unless you are eating out every single day, which we don’t recommend on the standpoint of your health.

Unfortunately, humans don’t have the ability to hibernate and must suffer the mundane foods of the non-holidays. A sad reality I know, but just imagine how good those turkeys and hams and all those amazing side dishes that surround them will taste when that time rolls back around. Till then, try to enjoy what is available. Might we suggest Latin fusion dining? Perhaps a bit self serving, but we think it could help.
